Senior Scientist-Peptidomimetic

Job Description

• We are looking for senior scientists with expertise in the discovery, development and manufacture of peptidomimetic drugs, especially in the fields of cancer and tumor, nervous system, immune metabolism, infectious diseases and other related fields.
• Candidates with targeted drug development and drug phenotype screening are preferred.
• Candidates are expected to have extensive work experience in relevant pharmaceutical companies/CROs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the research team to develop peptidomimetic drugs/therapies.
• Timely grasp the latest progress in peptidomimetic drug research and explore developable disease goals.
• Supervise, mentor and cross-train other scientists within the drug development group.
• Effectively eliminate and solve problems that hinder the successful development of drugs/therapies.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology or biochemistry is preferred. Ph.D. in other related fields is also considered.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant pharmaceutical companies/CROs.
• Proficient in peptide or peptidomimetic drug research.
• Proven ability in project design and management, and capable of leading an R&D team independently.
